Purpose and use of collected user data:
When FilterGate is purchased directly from the FilterGate site:
Upon purchase and registration FilterGate retains the following
information:
- The user's email address only.
The user's email address is recorded so that registration keys can be
requested at a future date; ie. when reinstalling FilterGate onto a new
machine.
The above information will never be sold to (or shared with) any other
organization.
When FilterGate is purchased through a FilterGate reseller:
If FilterGate is purchased through a FilterGate reseller then the
reseller may require further information in which case you should refer to
the reseller's privacy statement.
Opting in/out:
As user data is used solely for the purpose of registration-key
generation there is currently no need for an opt in/out policy.
Access:
User information retained by FilterGate may be checked, modified or
deleted at any time by sending a request to
support@filtergate.com.
